The brand identity underwent significant refinement, embracing minimalism through a simplified circular design system. By distilling our visual elements to their essential forms, we ensured the brand maintains its impact whether it appears on a basic printer, a low-resolution screen, or sophisticated digital displays.

The foundation of our refreshed identity centers on three key design pillars. Our logo system has evolved to embrace essential circular forms, complemented by dynamic animations that bring the brand to life across digital touchpoints. We've standardized our typography around Frauces as our primary typeface, whose distinctive character perfectly balances modernity with timeless appeal. The color palette strikes a delicate balance between bold expression and somber sophistication, featuring a fresh green (#79E950), deep red (#D50E3A), and vibrant pink (#F93D66), complemented by softer tones of lime (#F9FFD8) and warm peach (#FFE3D8). This carefully curated combination provides both versatility and visual impact across all brand applications.

This brand identity extends across a comprehensive suite of business touch-points. The refreshed letterhead design and  meticulously crafted business card system reinforces the brand's presence in personal interactions. Custom packaging tapes add a distinctive branded element to our shipping materials.

Packaging design

2024 witnessed Pomo's strategic expansion in the beverage market, with each new product telling its own visual story. Our design journey began with a distinctly illustrative approach, bringing products to life through detailed artwork. The initial concept explored vibrant, hand-crafted illustrations that captured the essence of each beverage:

Our flagship product, Koko Bliss, has been the cornerstone of our design evolution. Its journey reflects our growing design maturity through two significant iterations. From its initial minimalist approach, the first evolution brought subtle refinements while maintaining its clean aesthetic. The second and current evolution marks a more dramatic shift, incorporating intricate details and introducing the heart motif that adds emotional depth while preserving the product's premium positioning. The success of these design iterations has been validated by strong market performance and positive customer feedback.

Meanwhile, Kairi Jhatka found its place in our portfolio with custom illustration work that captured the product's vibrant essence. However, our market exploration with Fanzo Pulp, despite its distinctive illustrative elements, led to the strategic decision to discontinue the product line. This experience provided valuable insights into market preferences and helped refine our product strategy moving forward.

Our motion design strategy evolved to address both long-term brand building and time-critical promotional needs. A standout example is our flash promotion campaign for air-shipped mangoes—a product that demanded rapid market response due to its premium nature and limited shelf life. Recognizing the cultural significance of mangoes in India, we crafted dynamic promotional content that emphasized both the product's exclusivity and the urgency of availability.

Our rapid response system enabled swift deployment of mango promotions that perfectly synchronized with air shipment schedules, ensuring maximum product freshness and market impact. By tapping into India's profound cultural connection with mangoes, we created resonant seasonal campaigns that spoke directly to consumers' emotional and cultural associations with this beloved fruit. Our presence on Amazon's marketplace was strengthened through carefully targeted content designed specifically for the platform's unique dynamics and consumer behaviours. Alongside these focused campaigns, we maintained consistent brand visibility through year-round promotional support for our flagship products, Koko Bliss and Kairi Jhatka, ensuring sustained market presence and brand recognition.

Ai

Our journey with AI tools this year has been a mixed bag of successes and learning experiences. While AI-generated still images significantly enhanced our creative capabilities, video generation through Pika Labs proved more experimental than practical. Some of these experiments created genuine buzz on social media, particularly when we transparently shared both the successes and amusing mishaps on our blog [link to AI experiments blog]. The unpredictable nature of AI-generated content has taught us valuable lessons about balancing innovation with reliability in our creative workflow.

Beyond creative applications, AI has become an integral part of our operational DNA.
